Management
- • Mechanical: TED stockings, IPCs
- • Pharmacological: LMWH (enoxaparin 40 mg SC OD; 20 mg if CrCl <30) or fondaparinux
- • Extended prophylaxis for major abdominal/pelvic cancer surgery (28 days)
- • Reassess bleeding risk (VTE risk assessment tool)
