Shock

Hypoperfusion / circulatory failure

First 30 seconds

  1. 1Call for help, note time
  2. 2High-flow O₂ 15 L/min NRB
  3. 3Lay flat, elevate legs if no pulmonary oedema
  4. 42× large-bore IV (14–16 G)
  5. 5Monitor: ECG, SpO₂, NIBP

Life-threatening generalised hypoperfusion → cellular hypoxia and organ dysfunction.
