Dose
Induction 1.5–2.5 mg/kg IV; sedation 0.3–4 mg/kg/h
Use
RSI, ICU sedation.
Monitoring
BP, HR, ECG, triglycerides if prolonged.
Side effects
- • Hypotension
- • Propofol infusion syndrome (acidosis, rhabdo, cardiac failure)
