Dose
0.6 mg SC OD × 1 wk → 1.2 mg → 1.8 mg OD (3.0 mg for obesity).
Contraindications
- • Personal/family MEN2 or medullary thyroid cancer
Use
T2DM with obesity/ASCVD; weight management.
Monitoring
Weight, HbA1c, GI tolerance, pancreatitis, thyroid nodule history.
Side effects
- • Nausea, vomiting
- • Diarrhoea
- • Gallstones
- • Injection-site reaction
