Genetic Na channel disorder with ↑SCD risk (typically young Asian men).
Diagnosis
- • Type 1 ECG: coved ST↑ ≥2 mm + inverted T in V1-V2 (spontaneous or provoked with ajmaline/flecainide)
Management
- • ICD if symptomatic or spontaneous type 1 + syncope/SCD family history
- • Avoid QT drugs, fever control (paracetamol early)
- • Quinidine for storm
