FAST HUG
- • Feeding (enteral if possible)
- • Analgesia (RASS/CPOT)
- • Sedation (daily hold, RASS target)
- • Thromboprophylaxis (LMWH or IPC)
- • Head of bed 30–45°
- • Ulcer prophylaxis (PPI if at risk)
- • Glucose control 6–10 mmol/L
Lines + tubes
- • CVC: need? days in?
- • Arterial line: site, perfusion
- • ETT: cuff pressure, position
- • NG: pH/CXR confirmed
- • Urinary catheter: HOUDINI
Ventilation
- • Lung-protective Vt 6 mL/kg IBW
- • Plateau <30, PEEP optimised
- • SBT readiness, daily wake + breathe
