Dose
800–1600 mg PO TDS with meals; titrate to phosphate target.
Use
Hyperphosphataemia in dialysis-dependent CKD.
Monitoring
Phosphate, calcium, bicarbonate, adherence with meals.
Side effects

- • Metabolic acidosis
