Dose
75 mg PO BD × 5 days (treatment) within 48 h of onset; 75 mg OD × 10 days prophylaxis. Reduce if CrCl <60.
Use
Influenza A/B in high-risk or hospitalised patients.
Monitoring
Renal function, symptom trajectory, secondary bacterial infection.
Side effects
- • Nausea, vomiting

- • Neuropsychiatric events in adolescents (rare)
