20–40 mg PO/IV OD; UGI bleed 80 mg IV + 8 mg/h × 72 h
Use
GORD, peptic ulcer, UGI bleed, H. pylori (combo).
Monitoring
Mg (long-term), B12, fractures.
Side effects
- • Hypomagnesaemia
- • C. diff
- • Fracture risk (long-term)
- • B12 deficiency
