Memantine
Dose
5 mg OD, increase 5 mg weekly to 20 mg OD. Max 10 mg/day if eGFR 5–29.
Use
Moderate-to-severe Alzheimer's disease; may be combined with donepezil.
Monitoring
Renal function, confusion, behavioural response.
