Evolocumab (PCSK9i)
Dose
140 mg SC q2 weeks or 420 mg monthly.
Indications
- • Statin-intolerant or LDL not at target on statin+ezetimibe in high-risk CVD/FH
Use
Additional 50–60% LDL reduction on top of statin (FOURIER).
Monitoring
Injection-site reactions, lipid response.
Side effects
- • Injection-site reaction
- • Nasopharyngitis
- • Myalgia
