Dapagliflozin
Dose
10 mg OD. Do not start if eGFR <20 for glycaemic benefit (cardio-renal indications differ).
Use
T2DM, HFrEF/HFpEF and CKD — reduces HF hospitalisation and CKD progression.
Monitoring
eGFR (expected initial dip), volume status, ketones if unwell, genital hygiene.
Side effects

- • Volume depletion
- • Euglycaemic DKA
- • UTI
